Sierra wanted to make something with the pie cherries from our tree, so first she made a cherry turnover. She pitted all the cherries.

How FUN!!!! I wish we had fresh cherries...but farmers market ones will do too!!! Last time I ate so many i got sick! ...but that will still not keep me away!
....do you have a secret for pitting cherries?? I cut them in half and scrape out the pit...and it ruins my fingernails.....do I need to buy a kitchen tool??
